FAQ
-
Depending on the camping selection that you make can vary the necessary equipment you may need. Generally, we recommend each person has his/her own pillow, change of clothes, swimsuit for the river, shoes you can get wet and a towel. We also ask that guests please use environmentally responsible soaps for solar the shower and that you dispose of your items appropriately between trash and recycling receptacles.

Unfortunately, we do not permit dogs into our camping areas for overnight stays. However, dogs are allowed to visit the garden with guests for a garden tour if they are leashed and owners bring their own bags to dispose of excrement in one of the various trash cans located throughout the garden.
-
No. There is no running water in the garden, but there are portable outdoor sinks for hand-washing at the porta-potty stations throughout the garden. Campers are also given a 5-gallon jug to fill with water at our hose for drinking.
-
Currently we have 4 pre-positioned porta-potties in the garden. Two can be found along the main access road and two additional potties are located along the outer edges of the garden path.

Yes. Every site has its own box full of firewood that is for use in the fire cooker ring also provided at each campsite. DO NOT use firewood at the large fire ring at Creativity and DO NOT move the fire cooker rings. Separate pallet wood is provided at the communal fire ring at Creativity for a night bonfire.
DO NOT bring your own firewood. In accordance with state law, we use locally sourced Vermont wood in prevention of insect infestation or plant disease from out-of-state wood.

We do have many campsites that we offer and try to keep groups relatively secluded from one another if there are not many bookings. However, if there are more sites booked, it is possible you will have a neighbor in the campsite next to yours. There is an option to book neighboring campsites or the campsite area as a whole.
