An Adventure Awaits

We are a small family-owned and operated outdoor outfitter and adventure center based in Windsor, Vermont. Situated in Artisans Park, we offer river trips, camping, and self-guided garden tours in The Path of Life Sculpture Garden. Whether you are looking for a family vacation, a corporate event, or a gorgeous wedding venue, we have you covered!

RIVER ADVENTURE

We offer self-guided river trips for canoes, kayaks, paddle-boards, rafts, and tubes on the scenic Connecticut River. Whether you are looking for a half or full day adventure, choose from a range of 2-8 hour trips. Book now to view available options and scheduled time slots!

GUIDED RIVER TRIPS

Learn about proper boating technique, river reading, and survival & rescue skills under the instruction of a 24-year Army Special Forces veteran, Craig Carmody, with a decorated history of boating, rescue, and survival experience. Read more about Craig’s qualifications HERE.

MULTI-DAY TRIPS

Looking for something a little different? This camping experience comes bundled together with a river trip in canoes! Choose how many days and how long you would like to be on the river each day, and we will plan out an exhilarating multi-day excursion for your group!

SUNSET PADDLE

Enjoy a paddle late into the evening under the glow of the setting sun. This is a trip offered publicly on every Friday of our river trip season, setting off at 4PM to return to our location by 7PM. This event requires a minimum of a 6 person sign-on to operate. Add to your evening by including a picnic and bonfire to your trip, view menu offerings HERE!

DELUXE CAMPING

Looking for a low maintenance, fun, and relaxing camping experience? Our deluxe outfitting tents comfortably sleeps six and comes fully equipped with cots & sleeping bags, firewood, and much more. Private access to the Connecticut River and Artisan’s Park, we have all you need for a fantastic family camping adventure in the garden!

PERSONAL TENT CAMPING

Return your senses to nature. Camp in the Path of Life Garden with your own personal equipment. We offer a variety of camping sites surrounded by a serene landscape providing space for recreation, relaxation, contemplation and realization. UNDER THE STARS

Under the light of a thousand stars in a serene garden, imagine an intimate firelit picnic. With locally sourced artisan charcuterie from Blake Hill Preserves, Silo Distillery, and Harpoon Brewery, and an additional choice of two menu offerings, enjoy a decadent meal and beverages. This picnic is offered bi-weekly for general sign-up, or you can book as a private party [min 6].

GARDEN TOUR

A self-guided walking tour of our 14-acre sculptured landscape shaped by a revelation of the human spirit and inspired by our relationship with the natural world. Manifested by 18 works of art you can spend 30 minutes to a whole day. Bring a picnic and your camera!

GPS & AR Gaming

A self-guided team based virtual reality geocaching game that takes you on an adventure as a spy, treasure hunter, adventurer, or the maid of honor/man of honor trying to recover wedding rings and find the groom/bride!
